Now that most of spas are closed and we find ourselves spending more time at home, it’s actually an important time to concentrate on your skin health.

We have a few tips that can help you maintain healthy skin during this time.

Healthy Diet

A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eating well balanced meals with plenty of vegetables and fruits, grains and protein can help the complexion of skin. Drinking water helps hydrate your skin and body. For younger looking skin a diet rich in fish and low in fats can be helpful. Limit your intake of alcohol and cut down on smoking. Smoking contributes to wrinkles, it decreases blood flow and makes skin paler.

Stress Management

During these difficult times our stress level is rising. Uncontrolled stress makes us age faster, makes skin more sensitive, and can trigger breakouts. Try to adapt a routine of getting enough sleep, do things you enjoy, scale back on that long to-do list.

Be Good To Your Skin

Treat your skin with gentle care. Daily cleansing, moisturizing and SPF protection are a key steps to a healthy skin. Don’t forget to exfoliate your skin every other week.
